We enjoyed our stay.

April 10th 2016
Just spent a very comfortable night at The Gungate. Upgraded from single rooms to lovely, well furnished, doubles with brand new ensuites, at no extra cost. Excellent full English breakfast served in nice dining room with lovely period features. More than happy with everything, would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Tamworth.

So impressed

“So impressed with the service provided at this hotel. Even my 5 year old son was happy when we returned from a meal and his bedding had been changed to Thomas the tank engine duvet set. Great end to our trip to Thomas land (Drayton manor)”

Great easter weekend

We hadn't been to a b&b as a family before so I was unsure of what to expect especially as my husband and I were sharing with our 11 and 12 yr old kids. But it was fantastic the room had lots of space with a great sized tv. The other guests were so quite we could of been in the house on our own. The breakfast was great and Sue made us feel welcome and showed interest in what we had been up to. We would recommend the hotel to anyone. Tamworth is nearby and drayton manor park only a short drive away.
